30x30inch&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Polaroid cameras have always been a way to capture beautiful moments, and even in today’s world of digital cameras and smartphones, they still hold a special place. Each Polaroid photo is a one-of-a-kind memory that cannot be copied. That’s why, even if a photo is “failed,” it still carries emotional value, it holds the feelings and memories from the moment it was taken. Even though they didn’t develop correctly, they still have a unique texture and hold traces of time. I started thinking about how to reuse them and give these abandoned moments a new life. &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I want to use these films to print my most precious memories, turning them into new works of art. This includes my paintings, ID photos from childhood to now, and snapshots of daily life with my family, friends, and host family to see how art and past moments can merge, creating new visual effects and emotional connections. &#38;nbsp;However, even with photographs as proof, memories can never be recreated exactly as they once were. Printmaking x Illustration
One of my favorite bedtime stories from childhood, told by my mother, is about a little rabbit and her mother who promise that as long as they hold each other in their hearts, they will meet under the moon in their dreams. As I grew older and moved farther from home, the story became a quiet cure for my homesickness, a symbol of reunion and love.I wanted to transform that inner emotional anchor into a physical space: a soft, dreamlike room filled with fur-covered furniture, creating warmth and belonging. A Polaroid “window” on the wall looks outward into my real life, while from the outside, this space reads as a fairy-tale home shared between my mother and me.However, the use of “real” fur and the red mushroom elements act as warnings, reminding us that this is not the real world and that we cannot stay in the past forever. The photo wall narrates a story: the rabbit falls asleep, reunites with her mother, and wanders together into a surreal mushroomland. Like all dreams, it has no ending. The sequence ends abruptly, as if the dreamer has just awakened.
Everything in the room whispers the same truth: this space is tender and nostalgic, but also an illusion, a dream we can visit, but never live in.

Watercolor, Gouache&#38;nbsp;7.5x10 inch&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; When I was little, my mom used to tell me my favorite bedtime story. It was about a little bunny and her mother, who made a promise: as long as they kept each other safely in their hearts, they would meet again in their dreams, under the soft glow of the moon.As I grew older and moved farther away from home, the story slowly faded, like a dream you almost remember but can’t quite hold on to.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; When I became an adult, I opened a rather curious little shop. Inside, I sold the strangest things, capsules filled with the sound of cat footsteps, books pressed with the loneliness of medieval artists, teapots steeped in sweet dreams, and all sorts of peculiar treasures.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; In the evenings, customers would arrive wrapped in golden sunset light, bringing even stranger objects to trade. When no one was around, I would quietly tidy up my little collection of wonders. The shop was calm and unhurried, much like my life.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; One night, while dusting a forgotten corner, I found an old, worn-out book. Its pages were covered in marks and stains, but there were no words at all—none. I couldn’t tell if the words had faded away with time, or if it had always been empty.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I flipped through a page or two, and suddenly, I felt very sleepy.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; In my dream, I was floating on a wide, endless sea. The water rocked me gently back and forth, and I felt so cozy I could barely open my eyes. I knew I was dreaming, but everything felt so real.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; After a while, though I don’t know how long, I opened my eyes and saw a group of tiny mushroom people bouncing around me.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; “You’re awake!” they chirped.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I blinked in surprise. My mom used to tell me stories about mushroom people, tiny creatures who lived beneath a great mother tree. They had mushroom-shaped heads and little human bodies, and they always traveled together, smiling at anyone they met.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; But those were just stories… weren’t they?

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; The mushroom people brought out a cake to welcome me. I stared in amazement, on top of the cake, little mushroom people were dancing! Even the candle flames flickered like tiny mushroom shapes.Just as I was watching, someone gently hugged me from behind.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I turned around quickly.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; It was my mom.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; She smiled and said she had been walking in the dark for a long time, following the candlelight until she found me. The moment I saw her, all my worries melted away.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Suddenly, the mushroom people gathered around me. They tied me up and began carrying me deep into the forest. I looked around in panic, my mom was gone!Though they were small, they were very strong. I struggled as hard as I could, trying to break free.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; The sun was rising over the horizon, spreading warm light across the familiar world. Life went on, and new stories quietly began.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; The old book still lay there, its pages empty, as if waiting to be filled, with stories from the past, or ones yet to come.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; And I find myself hoping that one day, in another dream, in another story, I will meet my mom again.

In researching children's illustrations, I investigated their reading habits and found that the development of visual nerves significantly impacts children's reading preferences. Starting from age five, children have the highest sensitivity to recognizing colors and using various colors in drawing. Therefore, a similar color scheme can enrich children's cognitive understanding of colors.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; The significance of children's books lies in their ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner for young readers. This particular children's book lacks narration, dialogue, and a defined ending deliberately. The intention is to encourage children to contribute their imagination to the story, fostering creativity and exploration. By engaging with the book, children have the opportunity to experience the magic of imagination, where anything is possible in a world full of creativity.
