Polaroid cameras have always been a way to capture beautiful moments, and even in today’s world of digital cameras and smartphones, they still hold a special place. Each Polaroid photo is a one-of-a-kind memory that cannot be copied. That’s why, even if a photo is “failed,” it still carries emotional value, it holds the feelings and memories from the moment it was taken. Even though they didn’t develop correctly, they still have a unique texture and hold traces of time. I started thinking about how to reuse them and give these abandoned moments a new life.

I want to use these films to print my most precious memories, turning them into new works of art. This includes my paintings, ID photos from childhood to now, and snapshots of daily life with my family, friends, and host family to see how art and past moments can merge, creating new visual effects and emotional connections. However, even with photographs as proof, memories can never be recreated exactly as they once were. That is why I chose to print only “80 photos” and name the work 80% Memory.
